Analytics overview

The Analytics page turns your payments into trends, so you can see how the business is doing at a glance rather than scrolling through individual transactions. This guide covers the headline metrics, the revenue chart, and the revenue split. For the deeper cuts (products, customers, methods, locations) see Breakdowns, and for traffic sources see Acquisition tracking.

Choosing a period

A period selector at the top right sets the time range for everything on the page. The options are Today, Yesterday, 7 Days, 30 Days, 90 Days, 12 Months, and All Time.

Most metrics also show a change indicator next to them, comparing the selected period against the one before it (for example this 30 days versus the previous 30). This tells you not just where you are, but whether you are trending up or down.

Core metrics

Across the top is a row of headline numbers for the chosen period:

  • Revenue: total money taken in.
  • MRR: monthly recurring revenue, the predictable income from your active subscriptions.
  • Subscriptions: how many subscriptions are active.
  • Payments: the number of payments.
  • Avg. Order: the average value of an order, which is revenue divided by the number of payments.

Together these give you the shape of the business: how much came in, how much is recurring, and how big a typical sale is.

The revenue chart

Below the metrics is a chart plotting your revenue and payments over the selected period. The horizontal axis is time, scaled to the range you picked (hours for Today, days for shorter ranges, months for longer ones). Hover any point to see the exact revenue and payment count for that moment.

The chart is the quickest way to spot patterns: busy days, quiet stretches, the effect of a campaign, or a steady climb over months.

Recurring vs one-time

A Revenue Split shows how much of your revenue is Recurring (from subscriptions) versus One-time (single purchases), as amounts and percentages. This tells you how much of your income is dependable month to month versus dependent on new sales.

Alongside it, a Subscription Health view breaks your subscriptions into active, paused, cancelled, and past due, so you can see the state of your recurring base at a glance.

Where failures and refunds show up

The analytics overview focuses on revenue and growth. To review failed payments, refunds, and disputes in detail, use the Transactions list (which you can filter by status) and the Refunds and disputes views, where each is broken down individually.
