Ad pixels

If you run ads on Meta, Google, or TikTok, connecting a pixel lets Paysio report conversions back to those platforms. That is what makes your ad campaigns able to optimize for real purchases and measure their return. You add your pixel details once in Settings > Pixels, and Paysio fires the right events automatically on your checkout and on successful purchases. No code to paste on your pages.

This is separate from acquisition tracking, which works with no setup: even without any pixel, Paysio captures UTM parameters and ad click IDs so the Acquisition section of Analytics still works. Pixels are for reporting conversions back to the ad platforms themselves.

Meta Pixel

Enter your Pixel ID, which you find in Meta Events Manager. Once set, Paysio fires the standard Meta events:

  • PageView when someone lands on your checkout.
  • InitiateCheckout when they begin checking out.
  • Purchase when a payment succeeds.

Set up a Purchase conversion in Google Ads, then enter both its Conversion ID (which looks like AW-XXXXXXXXX) and its Conversion Label. Both are required for conversions to record. Paysio then reports a purchase conversion to Google Ads when a payment succeeds.

TikTok Pixel

Enter your Pixel Code, found in TikTok Events Manager. Paysio fires the standard TikTok events:

  • PageView when someone lands on your checkout.
  • InitiateCheckout when they begin.
  • CompletePayment when a payment succeeds.

Saving

Fill in only the platforms you use and leave the others blank. Click Save changes. You can update or remove any pixel later by editing the fields and saving again.

Verifying events

Paysio does not have a built-in pixel tester, so you verify events in each ad platform's own tools:

  • Meta: use the Test Events tab in Events Manager.
  • Google Ads: check the conversion action's status, which moves to recording once it receives data.
  • TikTok: use the test or diagnostics view in Events Manager.

The simplest check is to make a real test purchase through your checkout and confirm the Purchase or CompletePayment event shows up in the platform. Note that events fire on live checkouts. See Sandbox mode for how test and live activity are kept separate.
