The live dashboard

Your Home screen is a live dashboard that streams activity as it happens. While the Analytics page is for looking back over a period, the Home dashboard is for right now: who is on your checkout, what is selling this minute, and where in the world your visitors are. It updates on its own in real time, with no need to refresh.

Live stats

Four numbers sit at the top, each counting today and updating live:

  • Visitors right now: how many people are actively on your checkout at this moment.
  • Revenue today: money taken so far today.
  • Total sessions: how many visits you have had today.
  • Total orders: how many orders placed today.

The figures animate as they change, so a new sale ticking the revenue up is something you can watch happen.

Hourly charts

Under each stat is a row of small bars, one per hour of the day. This shows how that number built up across the day, so you can see your busy and quiet hours at a glance. Hover any bar to see the exact value for that hour, such as "3PM: 12 orders". Hours that have not happened yet are dimmed.

The activity feed

A live feed lists individual events as they occur, newest first. Each is color-coded by type:

  • New visitor: someone arrived on a checkout or link.
  • Filling out form: a visitor is entering their details.
  • Completed checkout: a sale just went through.
  • Subscription renewal: a recurring payment was charged.
  • Discount applied: a customer used a discount code.

This is the pulse of your business in the moment, useful for watching a launch or a campaign land in real time.

Countries and the globe

Behind the stats, a live globe shows where your current visitors are in the world. Each active visitor appears as a point on their country, and the points reflect what they are doing: browsing, filling out the checkout, or completing a purchase. Countries with activity are highlighted, and you can see per-country counts. It is a fast way to see where your traffic and sales are coming from as it happens.

Like the rest of the dashboard, the globe and all the live numbers respect sandbox mode: in sandbox you see your test activity, and in live mode you see real customers.
