Designing emails

Email templates are the reusable designs you send to your list as campaigns. You build them with an AI editor that works just like the store builder: you describe the email you want in plain language, the AI builds it, and you refine it with follow-up messages. No HTML, no drag-and-drop fiddling.

Creating a template

Go to Email Templates and click New template. Give it a name, such as "Spring Promo", and click Create & build. This creates the template and opens it in the editor right away.

Your templates live on the Email Templates page as a grid of cards. Each card shows a live thumbnail of the design, its name, and when it was last updated, so you can recognize them at a glance.

Building and iterating

The editor has a chat on the left and a live preview on the right. To build the email, describe what you want, for example "a spring sale announcement with a header image, a headline, three featured products, and a shop-now button". The AI generates it and it appears in the preview.

To change anything, send another message. The input reads "Describe changes to your email", and each follow-up refines the design rather than starting over. You can also attach an image to a message, for example a logo or a photo to include.

Above the preview you can switch between Preview and Code. Preview shows the email as recipients will see it; Code shows the underlying HTML if you want to inspect or fine-tune it directly. Your work is saved automatically as you go.

Test sends

Before you use a template in a campaign, send yourself a copy to check how it looks in a real inbox. Click Test send, enter an email address (your own is filled in by default), and optionally a subject line, then send. Paysio delivers the template to that address so you can confirm the layout, images, and links render correctly on your device and email client.

Testing this way is worth doing every time, since emails can look different in an inbox than in the preview.

Managing templates

From the Email Templates grid, hover a card for its actions:

  • Edit: reopen the template in the builder to keep working on it.
  • Duplicate: make a copy to use as the starting point for a new design.
  • Delete: remove a template you no longer need.

A template you build is saved as you work and is ready to use the moment you create a campaign. There is no separate publishing step for templates: you design it here, then pick it when you send. See Email campaigns.
