Checkout appearance

Make your hosted checkout look like your brand. This page controls the colors and the background of your checkout pages (the pages behind your payment links). Find it under Settings, then Checkout appearance.

Opening checkout appearance

  1. Click Settings at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Go to Checkout appearance.

The logo shown on checkout is your workspace avatar. It appears automatically at the top of the checkout, on receipts, and in the customer portal, so there is no separate upload here. To set or change it, go to Settings, then General. See General settings.

Colors

There are two main colors:

  • Primary color. Used for buttons, links, and accents. The default is a near-black, #303030.
  • Background color. The page background behind the checkout. The default is a light gray, #f1f1f1.

For each one you can either click the small color square to pick visually, or type a hex code like #303030. Leave a field blank to use the default.

A helpful detail: the checkout follows your background color for light or dark. A dark background color gives you a dark checkout, and a light one keeps it light. Everything adapts on its own.

Animated background (optional)

You can add a subtle animated background to the left panel of your checkout and payout pages.

  1. Under Left panel background, choose one of the animated styles, or None to turn it off.
  2. Pick a Background pattern color for the animation.

A small live preview on the page shows how the left panel will look, and it also follows your background color for light or dark.

Saving your changes

  1. Make your changes.
  2. Click Save appearance.

To start over, click Reset to defaults, which clears your colors and background, then click Save appearance to store it.

Previewing the full checkout

The preview on this page only shows the animated background. To see the whole checkout with your branding, open one of your payment links and view its checkout page. Turn on sandbox mode first so it is safe to click through. See The checkout experience and Sandbox mode.
