A tour of your dashboard

Everything in Paysio starts from the dashboard. This tour walks through each area so the rest of the handbook always has a place to point to. You do not need to change anything as you read. This is just a map.

The layout

The screen has two lasting parts:

  • The sidebar on the left, where you move between sections.
  • The main area in the middle, which changes based on what you pick.

On a phone the sidebar is hidden behind a menu button. See the "On mobile" section below.

The sidebar

At the very top of the sidebar you will find three things:

  1. The workspace switcher, showing your business name. Click it to switch or create a workspace.
  2. A search button to search across your whole workspace.
  3. A plus button to quickly create something new, such as a product or a payment link.

Below that, the main navigation is grouped. The primary items are:

  • Home shows today's activity and revenue.
  • Balances shows the money in your Paysio account.
  • Transactions lists every charge and refund.
  • Customers collects everyone who has paid you.
  • Products is your catalog.
  • Inbox is your customer support chat.

Under those are three groups you can open and close:

  • Payments: Payment Links, Invoices, Subscriptions, Virtual Terminal, Discounts, and Disputes.
  • Payouts: Payout Links and Payout Requests.
  • Storefront: Campaigns, Email Templates, Email Lists, Store Builder, and Analytics.

Click a group heading to open or close it, so you can keep the sidebar focused on what you use most.

At the bottom of the sidebar are the sandbox toggle for testing, plus Developers, Support, and Settings.

The Home screen

Home is your daily snapshot, and it updates live as activity happens.

  • The top shows today's numbers: revenue, orders, and visitors, plus how many people are on your site, checking out, and completing an order right now.
  • A live activity feed lists recent events such as visits, payments, and renewals.
  • Charts show revenue, orders, and sessions across the day.

The live dashboard guide covers Home in detail.

Settings

The Settings button opens your workspace settings, grouped into account, workspace, payments, and developer sections. Two settings matter most at the start:

  1. Payments, where you connect the processor that moves card money.
  2. Members, where you invite your team.

Sandbox mode

The sandbox toggle at the bottom of the sidebar lets you test everything without real money. When it is on, parts of the dashboard turn orange to remind you. See Sandbox mode.

On mobile

On a phone:

  1. Tap the menu button in the top left to slide out the full sidebar.
  2. Tap any item to go there. The menu closes on its own.
  3. A bar of shortcuts sits along the bottom for the areas you use most.

Where to next

Now that you know your way around, learn about workspaces, then take your first payment.
